To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Sky Diving Penguins’ (SDP) debut, we are entering new territory. Asia, to be precise, where we will be releasing it as a KiT album. 

It has long been on my mind to find a new way of offering music fans something different and personal. Something that accepts the predominantly digital world in which we live, yet values the physical. The trick has been finding the right means and outlet. This is what it will look like on release. 

Clearly, the KiT release will only be of interest to some of you, given locations. However, I have been working on an alternative for an UK release. I now believe I can make it happen. It will be similar to what you see above, but with different goodies (e.g. I will produce fridge magnets that reflect the original artwork). 

I respect that it won’t be for everyone, not least for those who have already supported. But I wanted to find another way of getting SDP’s music out there to new ears, beyond the traditional.

For what it’s worth, the second SDP LP is closer to completion. It is going to happen, soon. I will also be re-establishing the SDP website.
