We would like to introduce you to the final two talented artists who will be taking part in our music festival, 24:1900.
In 2021, Grim17 released his first LP, “Digital Throw Up” on the Lights And Lines label. It is a nod to Grim17’s various influences; Electro, Alternative, Folk, and Industrial influences whilst maintaining his own unquestionable independence and individual style across everything he does.
In 2022, Grim17 released his second album, ‘Messing With Your Faith’. Acoustic guitars mix with glitched tribal drumbeats mix with haunting vocal harmonies on this album. Whilst displaying Grim17’s incredible talent for songwriting.
Since then, he has released a variety of singles, a remix album as well as a collection of singles and B-sides.
Influenced by Tom Waits through to Pearl Jam, coming on like a glitched-up Bon Iver, like his sixteen forefathers before him, Grim17 describes himself as a Northern Ireland born cacophonist, and song-n-dance man.
Alkalsaat will leave you moving hard with a stank face. Born out of a passion for jazz & fusion, along with a shared vision for fresh and modern sounds.
Featuring guitar, violin & drums, sounding like Snarky Puppy meets Vulfpeck, their music is dancy & melodic, spontaneous yet arranged, pure & unbound, blending jazz and fusion with a modern approach to sound and instrumental play.
