24:1900: New Artists - Electrodub Experiment (Australia), Vazlá (Mexico) & Ria Rua (Ireland)

This week, we welcome the following talented artists who have agreed to take part in our music festival, 24:1900

Electrodub Experiment (Australia)

Let’s get spacey. Let’s get dubby.

Electrodub Experiment weaves a mind-bending soundscape blending elements of psychedelic jazz, trip-hop and dub, engineered to shift the consciousness of the listener to strange and beautiful new territories

Their densely layered beats, spacey atmospheres, and mind-bending soundscapes remind us The Orb, Sly & Robbie, Szun Waves and further beyond.

Vazlá (Mexico)

Think Vazlá. Think latin rhythms, electronica, folk, and psychedelia.

Vazlá’s music is marked by rich layers, a cosmic and earthy vibe, and a deep connection to Mexican and Latin American roots, offering listeners a journey through ancestral and futuristic sonic landscapes.

For fans of Quantic for their approach to electronic Latin fusion, as well as Mexican experimentalists like Sotomayor who also blend folk, psychedelia and electronic textures

Ria Rua (Ireland)

Hailing from Ireland, Ria Rua ("Red Queen" in Irish) is known for her explosive and emotional performances. Her lyrics are pointed and personal but the themes are universal: sex, power and freedom.

Expect grungy and electronic rock anthems. Her tracks often feature a blend of industrial textures and introspective melodies - music that sounds like an angry soundtrack to the looming collapse.

For fans of Nine Inch Nails, Wolf Alice, Katy Jane Garside and more.

Please check these artists out, and if you like what you hear show them some love.
