virgin orchestra - UK Tour July 2026

We are delighted to announce that virgin orchestra (vo) will be undertaking a small GB tour between 7-17 July.

Since playing 24:1900 music festival in December 2025, we have been working with vo arranging this tour. Along with the fantastic Still Traffico (who support in Cardiff and Brighton), the rather ace Hauspoints will be the main support act for the tour. Psylhouette, and their joyful brand of krautock meets shoegaze, will be supporting in Brighton

vo have been selected to play Iceland Airwaves again later this year. Before then, they will be supporting Queens Of The Stone Age, at their exclusive one-off show in Iceland.

Hope that you can come and catch them on their debut GB tour.

Bio

virgin orchestra (VO) is a band from Reykjavík, Iceland, formed in 2021. The band combines post-punk with electronic music, dreampop and noise. Live, they use guitar, cello, bass and vocals along with programming and experimental soundscapes to recreate their distinctive sound.

Comprised of Rún, Stef and Starri, VO have been attracting attention in Iceland and throughout Europe after their 2023 Berlin-recorded release ‘Fragments’, released via the legendary Icelandic label Bad Taste/Smekkleysa.

Following this release, they played a few shows across the UK, before returning to Reykjavik to perform an album release show at Harpa Concert Hall. They also took part at Icelandic music festival 'Iceland Airwaves' towards the end of 2024.

In May 2025, VO released their second EP ‘LET IT BURN’. Of it, Jordan Corrigan (Some Other Time) wrote, “On LET IT BURN, virgin orchestra have taken another bold step forward with a sound that is richer, more cohesive, and more texturally varied than its predecessor.”

VO will be playing several dates across the UK in July 2026, before returning to Iceland to support Queens Of The Stone Age (October) and playing Iceland Airwaves once more.
